Pathways, Inc. provides a variety of day service options for persons of various ages who are diagnosed with a developmental disability or traumatic brain injury. These services are offered outside the person’s home through individualized, small or large group programs at locations throughout Steuben and Chemung counties. While most services are offered on weekdays and daytime hours, some individualized services can be offered on days and times that are convenient to the individual’s schedule. All services utilize structured environments as needed and community opportunities and resources whenever possible to offer activities, supervision and supports that are designed to en-hance independence and meet the needs and desires
of the individual. These services include:
Day Treatment - Based on individual needs, this program is for persons 18 years and older and provides:

• Transportation
  
• Psychological Services
  
• Nursing Services
  
• Nutritional Services
  
• Social Work Services
  
• Recreational Services
  
• Speech, occupational, and physical therapy
  
• Training in life skills, socialization, prevocational skills, and sensory motor skills
  

These services are offered at three sites, one in Steuben County and two in Chemung County, Monday through Friday.



Day Habilitation - Supports individuals of all ages in developing an assortment of activities and interests that lead to a productive life. These services are designed to be flexible in hours and days and can be provided wherever a person wishes to experience new skills and to establish connections within his/her community. These services can be offered 7 days per week depending on the person's needs.
